shrimp and iodine

will iodine from a med kit kill my fish? my ghost shrimp are dieing from bad sheds and i think this will help them. any ideas will help.

Yes. iodine is not iodide. They are as different as chlorine and chloride.

Agreed. If you want to suppliment iodide then head to any fish store that sells marine supplies. They will sell the right stuff. Use sparingly though as too much will kill. I add 1 drop per 5 gallons of tank water each water change and that seemed to really help my amano shrimp molt much more regularly.
