As the title suggests, other than RCS, what other freshwater shrimp can survive and breed in aquarium water that is high ph and medium-hard?

I have RCS now that are doing great, but would like a little variety in the cohabitation department.

Thanks!

Sulawesi shrimps will do well in high pH and temp.

Can anyone direct me as to the species of Caridina babaulti and where to get them? I read a brief article that stated many shrimp are mislabeled as Caridina babaulti... I'm just a beginner and don't need to be more confused! Article also stated some of these shrimp won't hold a color and their offspring won't be the same color either.

I disagree but will leave that for another thread, lol.

Indian babaulti (green shrimp, indian dwarf zebra, indian white banded) will all do quite well in hard water as will any of hte neocaridina shrimp. Malawa are another great choice. All their care is very similar.

Cardinal Shrimp also can take a high pH. Its ideal pH level is 8.0

Thanks for the replies... but where do I get these little critters? Aquabid is hit and miss, to say the least.
