Can a fish shrink? I swear my male pearl gourami is shrinking. I had him from very juvenile and he was growing fine and getting the aspect of a mature male (the red belly, strong fins), but now it looks like a juvenile again.

From the very begginig, he has been a lot less active than the others. Eats less and is only atracted to small live food. Also, he has this scale problem and is always lacking some of them. Treated him for bacterial problems and nothing changed. Maybe he is just getting bald :p:

Please, tell me: CAN A FISH SHRINK???

Dammit! I just read something about some fish that one of the signs of ill health was that it started to get smaller. Pleco? Gourami? Blargh! Grrr!

Soon as I remember, Patoloco, I'll post the link or the info. Dunno if it's good info, but it was out there.

You're not losing it.

Now, if only I could remember where I read it.
