Due to a shipping disaster (FED X LOST BOX), several angels didn't make it. One that did has finally started eating (after 10 days) looks to be ok.....but now that he is close to the front of the tank I've noticed two spots on his back fin. DD Black superveil. It isn't ick. It is two pod like looking things. They are about the size of a piece of rice. 1 x 2 mm . they appear cream colored, but transparent and gel like when out of the water. Does not wipe off. Otherwise no other marking on fish. I'm concerned if this is a worm pod? I haven't been able to find any pictures of this on web. Web diseases show what parasites look like under microscopes not by eye. I'm afraid it will effect other fish, but if they have already spread it, I need to treat the entire tank and not just him. No photos come out clear enough to really see it because it is so small. Any ideas would be appreciated!

is the angel in a quarantine tank?

if it is..then keep it bare bottom sounds like it could be a fluke a picture would help..but they can appear like a brown/tan blob on the fish..do not scrape it off.

btw, formalin and prazi have been used but they basically get the fluke to drop off the fish..you will need to remove the parasite or move the fish to a different q tank

flukes(if this is what you have) are a bugger to get rid of.
