A few years ago, I inherited a 55 gallon tank from a friend who moved. The primary fish in the tank are two Silver Dollars that are just about 10 years old. They're roughly 7" long. They eat algae discs and shrimp pellets.

At the moment, one of them is having problems. It appears to be bloated and looks like it may be constipated (although really I have no experience knowing what that looks like) and is having a very hard time staying upright. When it rests, it floats upside down and then struggles to right itself and stay that way.

I really don't know much about these things.. what should I do? Just wait and see if it gets better? How do I decide if or when I should euthanize it? And how would I go about doing that? What is the risk to the other fish in the tank?
