Hi all,
My angelfish has some kind of disease/parasite I haven't been able to identify - doesn't appear to be ich, velvet, fungus, or other things I've come across before. He is swimming and eating normally, but the growths/parasites haven't responded to elevated temperature, Melafix, or Paraguard.
WIthout a diagnosis, I'm reluctant to keep dosing a large planted tank (125g) with new chemicals. Tank has been set up for quite a while, water parameters are normal, and no other fish seem to be sick (at least yet). Tankmates include Congo tetras, a few leporinus, a Black Ghost, and rosy barbs, all of which have cohabitated peacefully for over a year.
Appreciate any insight anyone can offer!
Jeremy
