if i put 2 in a 45 gallon aquarium will they be ok and are they community cuz at some places they are and at others they are Semi-Aggresive?

What other fish would be in the 45G? Also, I believe they are suppose to have lower lighting???

They would prefer to be in schools so I would add at least another but that depends on what else is in the tank with them.

Welcome back, Jay. I would say definitely not to a silver dollar. Plus, you'll probably want to solve your ich problem before you go putting anything else in.

And don't ever trust the tags on the tanks as to what's community and semi-aggressive.

School of six or more, to clarify, and IMO they should be in a school of at least six.

They are a very shy, timid fish that startle easily and they need the safety of a real school. Even then they will bash themselves into the sides of the tank if they get scared.
