silver long nose gar in saltwater

i was wondering if the silver long nose gar can live in my saltwater tank!!!

why would you buy a silver long nosed gar in the first place? you can find much more interesting fish for a saltwater tank

Looks like an interesting fish for a very large tank, but a quick check on fishbase and a search with google indicates they only naturally occur in fresh and brackish water, which would lead me to believe that they probably wouldn't tolerate marine conditions well.
