Sinking Veggys for Plecos

Hey, Can I substitute Hikari Carnivore Sinking Pellets for meats and shrimps? I usually feed my albino senegal bichir with it and when it gets too full he chews up the remaining pieces and my gold nugget pleco seems to enjoy the scraps.

Here's the fork method. I also use it for spinach leaves. And shelled peas (no fork necessary for the peas !)

Hamsterguy,

I use carrots because they last a long time in the water without fouling it and my plecos are a nice deep orange color because of it. The only food I know of with more beta carotene than carrots is spinach. De-hydrated spinach is one of the ingredients in my home made Captain Bob's Sink or Swim "Frenzy" fish food.

Feel free to e-mail me at captainbobsfood@gmail.com for details.
