Hi.

My cousin's had a goldfish living in a tupperware container for about 5 months now, and surprisingly, it hasn't died yet. When I found out, I went out and got her a 33 g tank.

now, my question is, would it be best to keep the fish in the bowl while the tank cycles, or should I place it in the tank and make it go through the cycling process?

Thanks for your help..

Tough question. How big of a tupperware are we talking here?

Anyhow, goldfish are a little more tolerant of adverse water conditions than other species, so putting it in the tank is not unrealistic...however, if the container it is in is not tiny, it might be best to leave it be until the tank is ready for it.
