So maybe i should take 4kg just 2 make sure & maybe to cap the soil more if needed?

K, any website i been 2 shows that less than 2kg is enough so 2kg should b plenty

Substrate can have different densities/weights so volume would be a better unit since you are measuring a volume as well. However it is not that critical if you have 3,5 or 4 cm or whatever, and you can always make the substrate in the back of the tank higher.

Okay I ordered the gravel twice and soend over £32 for just gravel and 3 fishes ? Will spend more for plants and daylight bulb + £5 mopani wood i picking up later in the day too haha..
