I finally got the Bak-Pak in the mail and set it up a few days ago. I produces a ton of white foam and one morning it did have some brown junk caked to the lid of the cup. However, all it really makes is a bunch of white foam which slowly fills the cup with some tinted water.

Does it need time to break in before I get the load of gunk?
Do I need to adjust the air flow or cup level?

Thanks!

In all the time I've used the bakpak, the skimmate has been a bit thin. Definitely brown, but not pasty.

How far down is the cup? I try to keep the bottom about 1/8-1/4" into the water.

When you say how far into the water...do you mean the foam or the water line?

I have it about 1/4 inch into the foam and it produces over a cup of tinted water a day...If I lower it to the water line it flows like crazy and I would have to empty it in minutes.
