What should it be doing exactly? Should it always have foam coming up into the cup? Or does it only do that if there's a lot of crap to skim? Our pump seems to vibrate itself off center and then it seems like the bubbles don't go up in a straight column. We cleaned it out tonight and it had some brown gunk in the cup and brown water in the overflow bottle, but now it seems to not be foaming. I guess we're just not sure what it should be doing. The bio-load should be pretty light right now as we've just got 3 little gobies and 1 foxface in there and a bunch of hermits and about 100 pounds of LR.
