Slightly Cloudy water, slightly split fins

Bio-spira is the stuff to use..the other brands have yet to be proven to actually work, have the correct bacterial culture, and/or contain actual 'live' bacteria.

quick question,

yesterday when my ammonia was really high (it probably still is today) i did a 25% water change. I'm assuming my levels are still messed up, and my waters still a little cloudy, should I do another water change today? if so, how much, and should I add more bacteria/salt? (i already added bacteria today)

It can take your tank awhile to completely cycle so buy some test kits that contains one for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. Test your waters daily and keep on doing daily water changes until your ammonia and nitrite levels are 0 or close to it.

Well , I had high ammonia levels for a while and I fixed it with water changes and then after I got the ammonia fixed, I then had problems with nitrite and I had to start doing more water changes. So you may have to deal with nitrite too.

when i took my water in yesterday she said my ammonia was way too high, and my nitrite was also out of whack, as a result of the ammonia.

i'm gonna have to go buy some strips, i cant just take my water in to petco every day
