One thing I have never really been able to get info on is how quickly fish grow.
The reason I ask is that mine seem to be very slow growers, I bought larger than required numbers of fish so that I could grow them out, choose the best personalities, appearence etc once they grew and sell on the rest, also having a load of juveniles means that they are les aggressive than introducing adults. All seems to be working well, but I have had this set up now since about Sept and my juviniles have all grown less than an inch in that time.
Does this seem right?
I was wondering if I was feeding enough tey get pellets one a day and blood worms once a week, I also pop lettice and cabbage and stuff in for the omnivors periodicaly. none of them look skinny, and they wolf their food down in about a minute and then get leary with each other! I just dont want to risk over feeding, but if there is something that will get them bigger quicker I would be interested.
