Small plecos

Clown plecs, panaque maccus, are pretty common & not expensive, ~$7. Bristle noses are also common. I got a young pair for $4 at an local auction, many people breed them. Do you have a fish club? Inch long reg brown babies ~$5, albinos & long finned, more at lfs here.

L066 & L333 are regularly available, ~$20 or so. Good stores will have the "L" number so you can check out planet catfish. Many plecs hide so you might not see him much but it makes sightings special.

Just got my first L260s from snook21 in Fla, and they are really nice. Best part is they stay pretty small (under 4"). And no, I don't have any pics yet cause I'm in Mass and my camera is in Philly with my son till Fri. Pics to come soon !!

I love these long fins and the starry nights

Common plecos as well as their color variants get enormous.. but there are several species of pleco that stay fairly small (as small as 4")
