snail breeding?

I have a ramshorn and 2 apples in a 10 gallon guppy tank. that ramshorn just laid a huge amount of eggs...my question is, do they crossbreed? is a ramshorn a-sexual? It was by itself in a 30 gallon tank for about 6 months before ever seeeing another snail. it goes in the gupp tank and in 2 weeks its layin eggs

what kind of ramshorn? Is this the small ramshorn (red or brown) or the big ramshorn (marisa)?

Is the snail big like your mystery snails or tiny? If its big, I would look at www.applesnail.net at marisa breeding behavior for your answers.

ramshorns (aka Marisas) can only cross with Asolene spixi, and even then it's not very common. they do not cross with mystery snails (Pomacea bridgesii) or any other apple snail.
your snail probably stored sperm from mating before you purchased it. they can store sperm for months.
