no. but there is info on that site about various snails, and if you can't find your info, you can post as a guest in some of the forums. someone will answer your questions. there are some crazy snail people over there.
Snail deposited eggs last night....

I'm not sure if ramshorns can lay eggs alone, but I know that suddenly I had 2 snails that likely came from my coworker's ornament that I borrowed.
Then after a while, there were more snails........and more snails........more than I want for sure.
I mostly find and squash the little ones and leave them as food for the greedy tetras I have.
If your snail is laying eggs, I'll bet you'll soon have more of them than you bargained on.

the "giant colubian" rams horn snails are apple snails http://www.applesnail.net/content/marisa.htm
and need two to reproduce but the females can wait several weeks before laying the fertilized eggs.

right, bk, but those aren't the typical ramshorn snails people end up with by accident...or even ones that are commonly found in stores. they're kinda cool though.

Hmm...I did some more research & found a few websites about ramshorns, and they all listed the scientific names, which were quite different from apple snails. One of the sites said that the snails reproduce by themselves...
