Hi there,
I have a snail...don't know the ID...that is secreting a white milky substance. I pulled him out of the tank and have him in a separate container until I hear from someone what this might be...any ideas?

just spawning.
:headbang2: haha

Well, it is either spawning or, in the case of some predatory snails, they will secrete a milky substance once they are near another snail. If it was by itself, that is a pretty good indication of spawning.

cool...he was all alone so sounds like a spawn. Some of it happened in the tank, some in a isolation cup...I poured it into fuge after getting your feedback...does this means babies in the fuge?? That would be cool!

lucky you:clap:, you'd be able to sell them... or give them out to good homes... course you'd have to consider many variables in selling them for profit such as feed, water, and electricity... I suggest 1$ each for med maybe 10¢ for babies (since they're so cute[and it makes alotta profit if you do this]) and shipping... I think you should do pickup if you live in east or west coast if not that's pretty bad 4 U
