That's up to you. A snail take would be cool, but be sure to have a tight lid for it. My snails can sometimes get out and dry up on the carpet. My snails only tank is a 5g with a glass lid. It works well keeping them in. As for food they eat anything. So I just toss a sinking pellet in there every few days.
i just dont know what to do with it and its a really cute little tank, i already have killies in a ten and am not actually fond of bettas ..i ended up buying it for a fw mussle that needed immediate home and was afraid to put it in my tanks so i used plants from killie and substrate form other tanks and it looks quite cute for a throw together ..right now its got a gold fish in it and hes going to a thirty to winter over ...then he goes to the big pond ...its a nice quick holding tank but i just think that even for qt its way to small...i wouldnt mind getting some loaches ..so you guys think that this isint big enough to raise feeder snails in ..even with alot of water changes?
