:help::help:So every snail that I get keeps dying. Water quality is fine, fish are fine, however every snail I put into my one tank keeps dying, Apple snails within a few days, and pond snail within a day. I just bought two rabbit snail and think one is already dead. What could be doing this and yet all fish and shrimp are fine??????????????????

Is it a used tank? If not, have you used any meds with copper in it?

I had some lava rocks kill my snails once. Did you put any decor in your tank that might not be aquarium safe?

if meds with copper had been used then the OP's shrimp wouldn't be faring too well, and they say they are fine.

are all the snails coming from the same store or person? if so, then try switching sources.

what fish do you have in there? could be a case of the fish terrorizing the snails (possibly at night) and the snails are dying from the stress?

Well I think I found out the problem, you guys were right about the decor I had a plant plate in there that my frogs ate from, and since that is were the snails seem to die near, I took it out. This morning I noticed both snails are alive and eating. So here is hoping. I love snails and really want them in this tank. If this doesn't work then I have no clue. No meds, or copper in this tank. It is not used, and snails have come from differen't sources. I don't think that fish are bothering them, I don't see any aggression or curiosity to the snails. So far I have lost 4 apple snails, and a tiger snail, not to mention all of my pond snails. Here is hoping it was that dish!! I will keep you posted.
