Snails kickin' the bucket...

...getting ready to shuffle off this Mortal coil, pining for the Fjords?

Got 5-6 Mystery Snails i my community tank. 3 of them are laying on the shells, foot in the air, tentacles are moving, though.

All readings good, just did a 50% water change (see post in DIY section).

Other snails truckin' all over the tank.

Ideas?

Could be several things however my best bet would be they just may be having fun. I have a lot of snails and each has their own personality. One likes to ride the bubbles, another likes to come out of the tank and play, then I have one that likes to nibble on human fingers, and one who likes to hang as far out of his shell as possible then let the filter push him in circles. LOL They really can do some weird things. As long as their shells look healthy, they are being fed (hopefully some foods with calcium), and water parameters look good, then there should be nothing to worry about
