Snails!

Hi everyone!

tis my last day in colorado and ill (try) to head home tomarrow back to my home in chicago. as a parting gift, my parents gave me their first tank (http://www.petsmart.com/global/prod...1167252351628&itemNo=0&In=Fish&N=2030056&Ne=2) and about 17 medium pond snails which have been living there for the last month.
hopefully the snails wont die along the trip.

i was just wondering, how long do these snails live, and will they be fine in non-planted, community tank?

i think the snails will be fine in a non planted tank. not sure how long they live for.

Most snails live about 2 years if cared for properly.

Agreed...if the fish like to eat snails, or constantly nip at them, they won't do very well.

they're being transpoted in the aquarium, which is half full right now.
