i had a snakehead once but im not sure what that particuar variety is called..
some internet sites say it was a "red snakehead", im not really sure though..

well, it was 2 inches long when i bought it and it outgrew my 75gallon tank in less than a year.. 8 months i think

it just keeps on eating anything that i put in the tank.. anything that moves that is.. smaller fish, roaches, lizards, bugs...

i sold it because it nearly destroyed my aquarium.. it kept on banging the corners specially when its hunting the fishes i gave him to eat so the aquarium started leaking... no news about it now

But living in BC, Canada, they are legal :) .

Channa bleheri stay small, i believe around 8" adult size, very pretty as well.
I see them for sale periodically, but they may be hard to come across (especially in mission). Last time i saw them for sale was more than a year ago.

Not necessarily - as evidenced by the first link, several truly diminutive species are available in the aquarium hobby.

What are the dimensions of the tank?

''They are legal in Canada'' not in Ontario they aren't-Anne
