So... Do I even really need ferts?!

So.... if the deal with a fellow AC member doesn't work out, does this look okay? I have found the whole Red Sea Paintball setup online for $110 + shipping, but I think I need to find a used one to be able to afford it at this point.

Do those Turbo CO2 or Hagen kits work well? I really want my DIY to work, but its just not happening..

yee they are fool proof but its only .5-1L canisters which even for a 10g is not enough.

You can even get a regular co2 regulator for $85 shipped from
http://www.water-testers.com/contents/en-us/d100_milwaukee-ma957-co2-regulator.html

and just get an adapter for it for a few bucks, allowing you to hook it up to a paintball tank. That way for now you can use it on the paintball tank and later on if you choose to upgrade to a big co2 cylinder you can just remove the paintball adapter and BAM!

For those $85 you get it all, regulator, solenoid, needle valve, bubble counter, free co2 proof tubing. I recently got that regulator from them and even after i had a small issue they still were cool enough to replace the defective item no questions asked..

Thanks Bk, if the AC plan falls through I will do that(the free shipping is a nice bonus!). Did you order the adapter from water testers or...?

Thanks again for all your help!

Haha, yes you are right. One day indeed I will have a nice, fat aquarium in my living room and I will need more CO2 than a paintball cylinder can provide. If you don't mind, I would love any links you have with the adapter. If I can at least see what one looks like I can go to the local hardware store and see if they have one.

Thanks again for all your help Bk! Tomorrow I make the leap to pressurized and order my setup.
