Yeah, I got those scissors at the ready! I went ahead and ordered a reactor/regulator from thatpetplace.com. I know in the long run that a setup for large tanks would be better, but this was $73 shipped for a regulator, reactor, and bubble counter. It should arrive by Monday.

I also went ahead and ordered a 1lb bag of KNO3, since I am out of nitrate.

My final question is, should I go ahead and reduce the lighting on my tank until I get my KNO3 and CO2 set up?

you can reduce the # of hours for now. But then again you can run things as they are right now.

got a link to the regulator you got? i cant seem to find one for the price you said. Was it the simple reg for paintball tanks??

Thanks, I'll just keep on the same schedule then. This is the regulator and this is the reactor/bubble counter/check valve.

They probably aren't the best, but as long as they can get me by until some point next year I'll be happy!

yea they should be fine on your tank. Though you couldve gotten a cheaper diffuser.. $20 cheaper

Should work. I don't like single gauge systems but it should get you by for a while.
