lol.. I can't believe it. I have never been a baseball fan. Finally, I decided to start watching a few games, and I realised how extremely interesting the sport is. There's so much going on in each game. . So much mind games... Keeps me hooked.. Sadly, I finally started to appreciate baseball, after only a few weeks that we don't have a team no more... (montreal Expos).

Anyway, I was watching the Sox-Yankees series, and I decided I like the redsox... The whole series was nuts... Congratz all you Bostonites, you finally got through them Yankees..

As a life long Red Sox fan I can't explain how much it means to finally beat the Evil Empire. The World Series will ALMOST be anticlimactic. Quite an amazing comeback.

Thank God we have two nights off from the games so I can sleep!

The cardinals won by a thread last night. It was game 6 for us. So whoever wins today plays the redsox for world champs.
And yes, I am a life long cards fan. I comes from my mom. She loved baseball.

This all started with David Ortiz who is from the Dominican Republic i believe. In his culture its a sign of respect to call someone "Papi" who is older and wiser than you are. I think a lot of the BoSox players out of respect started calling David Ortiz "Papi" during the regular season. So you can see why the Yankee fans started heckeling Ortiz with the "Who's your daddy" comments.

Kinda disrespectul to the Dominican Republics culture on the Yankee fans part..................
