I've posted a lot lately about my angels and their fry recently and am feeling ready to give it all up
First I my angels spawn... yea so exciting first experience with this! (thread 1)
Don't want to disrupt the eggs - wait a week b4 doing a WC (thread 2)
Bad Move - fish don't look good male gets what looks like ich (thread 3)
Raise temp but don't know if salt will hurt fry don't add (thread 4)
Driftwood gets crazy fungul infestation - huh? (thread 5)
Remove driftwood
Doing WCs now, - too late.
Today come home male looks BAD (BTW still got a whole bunch of wigglers) white stringy poop, listless, gill/mouth spasams, dull coloration, still with ich - (besides the ich) internal parasites right? Go to store buy tank buddies parasite drop-ins - put in tank - willing to kill fry if I must to save male.
Male still looks bad and new symptoms suddenly occur!!- red along base of dorsal, red streaks around mouth...... bacterial infection?!?!?
What do I do now!!!!!!! I'm so fed up now I'll probably loose fry AND male and female??? So sad

so sorry, boo. I just lost my mice like that so I know how you feel.... maybe you could remove the young'uns from the tank and rear them separately white you treat the male?

thanks, i already treated the tank. I'll just hope for the best and hopefully not wake up to tragedy tomorrow

Remove the wigglers/fry ASAP!!! They will go through lots of stress w/ all the medication, water changes, and bacteria. Left in there, they have a near sure chance of death, I would say. I personally think its best to always remove them ASAP, regardless of conditions. 10 gal. should do it. Cover up the filter head, maybe an airstone. Do your best to make the fry be alright with the change. Try to get all your ammonia, nitrite, pH levels to correspond, follow instructions on sites.

Also, try to keep them w/out cories. If you can't, you can't, but try. Also, if you do, just partition the tank (some plexiglass from lowes/home depot with holes drilled in it. It's always good to have extra tanks around. Also, in the future, you may set up a quarantine tank out of sight, so you can just remove fish like your male now, but early on. This makes it much easier to treat, with less stress on other fish.
