Thats one tiny angelfish, by the way it would do perfect in a 29g with a couple of smaller tetras, but no tiger barbs!!!

My angel has grown from the size of a dime to about as round as a soda can minus the fins. I got the angel in April...I hope this helps you with the growth rate 
you should get the 29 gallon ASAP. angels are awsome fish and will live longer in a 29 gallon because they wont be stunted
you could have another angel in that tank as well, and a school of 6 tetras like balck skirts, red eyes, lemon, or diamonds. stay away from neons and cardinals, for the angels will eventually eat them. for the bottom of the tank, 4 corydoras will be fine.
if your brother is getting a 10 gallon, move one of the dwarf gouramis in to his tank. both will be much happier- from the photo it looked like they were fighting a bit. once you move one of the gourami to another 10 gallon, you can add 6 neons to both.
you should probably take back the pleco, because they get to 2 feet long...

You have to be careful putting 2 angels together because they are hard to sex when young. You could end up with a pair, which is great, or you could end up with 2 adult angels that beat the crap out of each other.
If it were me, I'd go with the one angel in the 29g and then add 1 or 2 schools of fish and some bottom feeders. You'll be surprised how big angels get and 2 in a 29g makes the tank look really small. Also if you get another and they end up hating each other, you may have a bunch of dead fish (if you add more than just angels). I'd stick with one...let it be the beautiful centerpiece.

to start a 10 is too small for an ADULT angel. your angel is a small juvenile and will be fine in the 10 for a few weeks. I've use 10's to grow angels out from tiny eraser size to about dime size(that's when I either sell them, trade them or give them away)

the gourami looks to bee dwarf from the pic..should be okay in the 10. gouramis and angels usually not a good mix..but it has worked for some..

Yea. Actually, the blue one is acting like, the 'king'. He's never extremely vicious to any of the fish, but he does try and command them. But, he never nips at them, just sorta runs into them. My dad was wondering if him and the orange one were a pair, since they had been hanging out. I dunno.
Well, Im going up to walmart in about a half an hour. Hopefully I'll end up getting the tank, although I think dad doesnt want me spending my christmas money on it. Oh well.
Is there anyway of keeping both gourami's in the same tank?
And also, with my pleco, I was kinda waiting till he gets bigger, then was going to give him to my dad for his oscar tank. But Oscar eats pretty much anything, so I was going to wait until he gets bigger. If not, my dad is friends with people who work in Super Pet, so I will just donate him if my dad cant take him.

Not to be rude, but I think the point of getting money for christmas is so that you can pick out exactly what you want...
If there male and female, or two females... should be no problem. If there two males, many people have had success keeping multiple male drawf gouramis in the same tank, as long as there is plenty of decor for hiding in and breaking up the lines of sights (I have too, and only saw minor aggresion, nothing to worry about).
Be sure not to leave them in a small tank too long... In my expierience (with somebody elses tank that I stepped in to help with), even small common plecos can easily put out so much waste that, combined with few other fishes, you will be able to see a lot of the waste soon before your weekly water change comes up. Now imagine that in a 10...
