I've gotta admit, I'm likin' the abandoned vehicle idea. I'm one of the guys that stickers cars as abandoned. They do get towed if they're not moved. Make sure you contact whatever department is ultimatly responsible for law enforcement in your area. Usually on the east coast it's the State Police, the west coast it's the Sheriff. That's not a rule though. If it was towed, You'll have to pay storage and tow fees, which will be more then the car is worth.

the lighter has been found!
ok the car also. the cop said "man they messed it up bad the windshield is cracked its all dented and banged up" they have it at a towing yard and want 460.00 to get it back! i said are u freaking kidding me i am not paying that! thats more then i paid for the car! i did get my lighter back though :grinyes:

not for 460.00 i have a truck also 2003 dodge 1500 quad cab. the civic was just my work car. i can guy another car for less than that

im not sure youd want it back... probably wouldnt get much for an insurance claim LMAO maybe i you claim the lighter thru insurance.....
