i have a toyota and its great, call me a ***** for driving it, i dare you
you're a %$^&*. :silly: you asked for it. :grinyes:
i would say something to the person. it would be something jokingly but i'm not sure if i'd let them know before i new their response. that's just me though.
my dad's a die hard american vehicle believer and a harley owner. he believes in them because it provides a lot of jobs at home. i agree but i've had foreign and domestic. i got chevy, buick, oldsmobile, mercury and nissan in the driveway right now. soon to be another car at tax time. my only current requirements are 4 door, 5 speed, good on gas and runs/looks good.
some people are particular to a manufacturer. i've made plenty of friends at the race track that would don that same setup on their vehicle to show their pride that were the nicest people. it's a bumper sticker... and a little creativity.
there is a product i can get at my local car paint distributor that will go on clear, dry hard and prevent rust on those holes. i don't remember the name of it but that's why i have friends that work in mechanics and body shops.
i agree the budweiser should have been set aside for a while during the planning stages but what can i do about it. tailgates are easy to remove and replace. apparently the person who shot near into his truck didn't know that... their fault.
as for this being a discussion or a debate... is it worth it? :wall: i think there are much better things in life than worrying about someone doing something dumb to their own vehicle. if not i'd be worrying about a lot of my friends and family even driving at all. i'd be too paranoid to leave the house wondering when i'm getting a call about my sister flipping another car... at 35 MPH! she's got her a class cdl with full hazmats and passenger endorsements too.
if there was anything obvious about the whole situation i'd say it's one of 4 things (or any combination). they either really like their truck, drank too much that day, are real stupid or have an inferiority complex. neither the bullet holes nor the sticker prove any of the above specifically. it does say, hay i promote your kid reading vulgarity when passing me on long trips.
this is america though and we built our country on principles that protect our right to that. expressions of such, although they may be judged by others should be encouraged to a point where we're willing to do what it takes to uphold the principles we separated ourselves from our oppressors with. they shouldn't need to be vulgar, but if it comes down to it... so be it.
