I haven't bought a plant in two weeks now, but today I just saw a tiny snail on a leaf's underside. Musta came with my dwarf sags, hehe. Will he harm/eat the plants when he gets bigger? I don't mind him being in there if he won't.

Second question. My Hygrophila corymbosa v. 'Stricta' is almost at the surface. How do I trim the plant so that it doesn't outgrow it? Can I just cut it at it's stem and replant the stem like wisteria? And if so, these newly planted stems will grow new roots in the substrate, right? Thanks!

Depends on the kind of snail it is. Malaysian Trumpet Snails (MTS) are cone shaped and will not harm plants. As for the other types of snails, experiences vary :)

Yes, you can just cut it at the stem somewhere (preferably where a new "node" of leaves is appearing to grow from), and replace the top back into the substrate. The replanted part will grow new roots.
