I've just noticed that both of my Mollies are hanging out at the very bottom of the tank. My black Mollie even sometimes like lays on the gravel at the bottom of the tank. Is there something wrong with them or is this just normal behavior? I don't really recall them doing this before.

pH - 8.0
Ammonia- 0
Nitrates- 0
Nitrites- 5

I just fed them and they seem to be moving about more. I don't know why they would have been hungry.

The tank has been setup for a few months. I have been fighting Nitrite problems and they are much lower than they used to be. I guess the Mollies where just hungry. They are up and about now.

Mollies arent very good to use with cycling tank..... maybe the high nitrites is just finally starting to get to them?? =(

I lost alot of mollies when i first started out...... i no longer have anymore...would love to get some tho!

But, seeing them at the bottom of the tank, or even at the top... just sitting there, usually was a sign within the next few days that they'd be died.... so, lets hope that your little guys are gunna be ok... sucks loosing fish!

The tank is not cycling.

My Mollies are usually at the top of the tank, or swimming around. Now the completley black one is hiding out in one of the caves swimming very low to the bottom. I don't know what to do. They have been fine for a while now.

The black Mollie is now pretty much lying in the rocks, and my Dalmation Mollies seems to be protecting it...it's like swimming nearby and stuff. Could my black Mollie possibly be pregnant?
