Well here is the the deal,

I have a 10 g with the following:

1x south american bumble bee cat
3x neons (was 4)
3x bleeding hearts
2x ghost shrimp (no more)

I recently went home from thanksgiving break, 4 days, and came back and one of my neons was dead, stuck to the filter. Then I wake up this morning and my remaining ghost shrimp was being pecked at by all the tetras all that was left were some remains. The fish were fed healthy before the break, I was under the impression they would be fine without food for this period of time. Was i wrong, if not any other ideas what the problem might be???

Water: Ammonia - 0
Nitrites - 0
Nitrates - 5ppm

As far as my other ghost shrimp is concerned, he slowly started slowing down, and not cleaning, similarly to the one that just died. I dont know whats goin on here but i just hope it doesnt keep happening to my other fish. There are no signs of disease as far as i can tell.

Thanks
Nate

Any place where the shrimp can hide from the fish? Could need to molt, and without a safe place, they are easy pickings after a molt.
