never seen one before... but then again I pay little attention to "pest" snails usually

whats wrong with the pics? they look fine to me
 
Um, unless the pics are really faded out those are pink ramshorns, not red. Pinks are usually much harder to come by. The dark one is one that reverted to the more common leopard coloring. So really what you have is one normal snail in a huge mass of special ones. :)
 
Yeah, they look like pinks, and that one just reverted back to the wild coloring.. it happens. Nothing special really.
 
Of course it is special. I always enjoy when a different anything shows up in my tanks. He is lovely!
 
I have quite a few with the same pattern....
