Spiny Tailed Monitors

I don't know how many of you go into the terrarium section so I thought I'd post a few pics in here. These are a few photos of my juvenile Ackie Monitor (aka "Spiny Tailed") pair I got last month. Today I cleaned out their enclosure and this was the first time I've ever held them. They have become very trusting in me over the last several weeks and didn't fuss at all with me handling them. These are Yellow Ackies (Varanus acanthurus brachyurus) which are the smaller of the 3 subspecies. They get about 18"-24" in length making them one of the smallest monitor species in the world. They're about a foot long at the moment and almost 3 months old.
