Spots and Echo's new Forty gallon :)

Spots and Echo's tank is finally ready for them to move in sorry about the picture quality I cant find my camera cord. The tank has 70 gallons of filtration and 250 watts between the heaters and of course an air stone for him to play with

Sorry about the last picture my phone is odd with bright light ...

The top is the tank when he was given to me
The middle is Spots and Echo
The last is the forty now ... They are going in tomorrow and I'll add more pics ASAP

But what do you guys think so far?

Thanks it took longer than I had hoped to set up but I think they'll like it.

They are going in tonight and with any luck Spots will pose for me Echo is still a baby and scared to death of me lol

looks pretty good.

I do feel as though the whole tank should be supported by a proper tank stand. a 40 gallon tank (water + substrate+tank) weighs about 350 pounds.

Yeah I know I need a stand but the solid oak coffee table was the best I could do for now. If i didnt feel it could support the tank i wouldnt have risked it. I'm planning on saving up for an iron stand its about 400 lbs actually ... i used 50 lbs of a bigger gravel since spots sucks the normal stuff into his mouth

personally a bigger fan of live plants or at least silk.

Me too I'm adding some live plants this week. This is a soft plastic though and kissing gourami's aren't delicate and have no problem with plastic
