I've got a good friend who thus far has hooked me up with a 12 gallon nano aquarium, as well as pre-cured live sand and live rock. (Generous, right?)

I've just now set up the tank with the live sand and live rock (Ther liverock was literlaly plucked from his tank this morning, and put into my tank less than an hour later...And his tanks haveubeen up and running for roughly 10 years)

In shor,t i'm looking for any advice on what to do next.
I've read a few books, but some helpful, personal advice is always nice as well.

Ultimately, i want 1 oceallaris (Sp?) clown fish, and either: 2 neon goby or 1 firefish.

Any suggestions on how to go about this? I'd imagine my filtration by now should be good, thanks to pre-cured everything...

But yeah, any ideas, info, or pointers would be helpful.

Thanks!
Andrew

Sounds like you have a good start if the rock and sand is already that well established. Just wait and let the tank cycle with the live rock and sand for about a month and then check the water params. Do a water change before adding a fish. The clownfish is a good starter fish since its hardy but I don't think you can have much else in that tank as for fish, except maybe the firefish.
