Stock 20 gallon?

:iagree:

2 points..tank is too small and the fish are not compatible.

agreed, no. What you could do however, is 4 neolamprologus lelupei, which is a small tanganyikan fish. They might work to fill the tank for you...

They are a beautiful yellow fish, with irredescent accents of blue and green lines. They could go in a 20, but you don't want to mix african cichlids with cichlids from south america (Angel fish are columbian, I believe), as there is a different tempermant, as well as water requirement.

yeah, a lab will get to be 4-6 inches on it's own. I am sure people have kept a pair of yellows in a 20, but that would max out your biolode, and they wouldn't be very happy....

There are a few Tanganyikan Cichlids that you could keep in a 20, but not really with mixing different species. Any tank that small should be either filled with smaller fish, or be a species only tank.

also, if you are thinking 20 long, take it from me, and go with a 29. You will be happier in the long run, unless you get the 20 long for cheap.
