Stock list for 34!

Probably withi the next 2 weeks ill be able to stock my new tank and as far as ive thought of im gonna go with

1) Pair of Grade A's
2.)1 Red Tail Flasher Wrasse
3.) Midas Blenny or some sort of blenney or gobey

Thats it besides a clean up crew which will be smaller this time
2 larger electric blue hermits
1 sand sifting star
1 cucumber
Assortment of snails

I dont think the stocking list is to much
i know midas can grow up to 6 inches
the percs wont get much bigger then they are now i dont think and the flasher wrasse gtes beyond 3 1/2 inches.. so i think i got a nice list there not over stocked atleast

theyre all reef safe and besides the wrasse needing alot of feeding which i think i can handle i think the list should be okay!
what do you guys think?

I would pass on the hermits. If you insist on having them, I would suggest one or two scarlet hermits. I would also forgo the starfish, as they consume sand infauna and tend to starve once they've eaten them. That leaves your sandbed lifeless and starves the starfish--two very bad things. Be sure to get a smaller cucumber, as larger ones will require more food. Sounds like a goo plan for snails. Stay away from the cheaper "Nassarius", as they are often a bad species (actually are Ilyanassa obsoleta--you don't want this species.) N. vibex is good, but only for eating leftover food, not detritus. Also stay away from bumblebee snails, as they do to rock what sand sifting starfish do to the sand (though not as voraciously).
 
what about the fish? does that sound good? and what snails should i get then?
 
The fish sound fine, just be sure not to get ones that need too much swimming room.

As far as herbivorous snails go, I recommend Astrea, Trochus, Stomatella, Collonista, Cypraea (cowries), Columbella, cerithids, rissoids. Nassarius vibex are okay for scavenging, whereas the ceriths will actually eat detritus, along with algae. That should be more than enough
 
well the flasher wrasse needs 30 gallons, and i have a 34 gal so i think ill be okay with that.

Ill just get 2 of each snail you listed haha( 16 total)
1 scarlet hermit
1 cucumber
and thatll be my CC
 
i like Wartskin Angles i think they are rather neat. i can house one too accroding to its specifications, i would be worried about it eating my clowns though, does anyone have exp. with one
 
They will eat any kind of fish eventually. It doesn't even have to fit in their mouths for them to at least attempt it. They need to either be housed with much larger fish that won't pick on them and allow them to eat (which is very slow and deliberate) or be housed by themselves. Even having two together can be risky.

Wrasse should be okay, but I would start out with half that amount of snails in terms of the herbivorous species. If you get that many at once, you have a good chance of starving them.
 
yea good point, i still dont even have my light over my tank... getting annoying. still no ammonia so i dont think im even gonna see any, and there was plenty of die off!

the angler looks fun and super interesting but not gonna risk it, if i ever go bigger hell probably be on my stock list
