I wouldn't add any livebearers unless you have a place for fry...your tank is pretty much stocked without them and will quickly be overpopulated if you mix sexes...I wouldn't add them anyways.

With 4 rams you are pretty much ensuring breeding which is not going to be good when two of the females are left out. And coupled with the angels (are they a breeding pair?) I see a problem waiting to happen.

I would choose either the lemons or the red phantoms and up the school to 12 or so. A larger school of one fish will look nicer IMO. Also add a couple more corys to the list.

By "gold fish" are you referring to coldwater goldfish or a tropical species that is the color gold?

Angelfish are really nice and a 55 gal is a nice size tank. Start off with 6 juvies and you may get a couple of pairs. Plecosomus are also a nessecity as well as a couple of cory cat fish.
besides a rubberlip pleco i had a few years back that was a gift, i have yet to have a tank with a pleco.

no goldies.

alright how about this then?:

10 lemons
10 rummynoses :D
2 gbr pairs (2m:2f )
1 breeding angel pair
1 pleco
7 panda cories
4 male guppies.

plants: random weed looking 1, water lillys, java ferns+moss, anubias, micro sword gras.

sounds good

I don't see their being enough room for two schools of fish and two pairs of rams is going to be worse than a harem group. Are your angels actually a breeding pair? What type of pleco?
angels- failed breeding pair(eat all the eggs everytime :()
pleco- albino brittlenose i think:confused: probably not gonna get em though

sorry to bump this up again but i thought of a new list of fish needed to know if it could work so here it is:

10 cherry shrimp
8 neons
8 black neons
8 lemons
6 dalmation mollies
5 panda cories
4 gouramis
4 german blue rams
4 platys

plants:
flame moss, guppy grass
