I am definitely getting

2 - Salvini's
2 - Sajica's

I was going to get a Green Texas but I changed my mind to a archocentrus spinosissimus (spiny cichlid).

Do you think that 2 Salvini's, 2 Sajica's and the Spiny are a better route to go with.

From my limited experience, the Spino is WAY overmatched in that company (or any company, actually). Mine never grew bigger than about 2.5-3", and is afraid of its own shadow! One of my biggest problems with my tanks has always been, "Where do I put the Spino so that I OCCASIONALLY get to see it?" It'd probably be ok with the Sajica (except when they're mating). Does the tank have a couple really small hiding places (that it would probably never leave)?

For whatever it's worth, I think the Salvini are going to have it for lunch at some point, and I wouldn't feel confident about its health when the Sajica mate either.
