i was thinking about what type of fish to stock my 20 long with
i know i would like 3 gobies, but how would a royal gramma do with them, i know i want a yellow watchmen goby, maybe a randells goby (spelling) and some other type of goby or goby like fish. any insight is great.

Royal gramma would be perfectly fine as would most other basslets and dartfish (firefish, etc.), Possum wrasse would be a nice addition IMO. Add the Royal Gramma last.

would 2 basslets work together. ie royal gramma, and candy basslet

You're going to want a cover as well with firefish and certain other gobies. Clown gobies are pretty cool and cheap but they may nip at corals.

Those should be fine together but I don;'t think I would put any other fish in a tank with a candy basslet simply because of their cost! I probably would find a way for it to swim around in its own private bubble! :).

ok maybe i will just stick with a few gobies, or dart, and the royal, i am working on making a screen top

wow the green clown goby is awesome. I think they get to big, but what if i didnt have a royal, and got a flame angel, im kinda ify on them

Many sites recommend 70+ gallons for a flame angel, and they're not considered reef friendly.

If you want an angel, checkout the pygmy (cherub, flameback, etc.). Note that all angels have the potential to nip corals. Cherubs are not well known for this but the potential exists. Definitely add this fish last (after the gramma).

Clown gobies do not have a great long term success rate. The Citrons seem to do the best but even those are ify (IMO).

yea im not so sure about getting a clown or an angel now, so here is what i think might work, 1 randalls goby, 1 yellow watchmen goby, 1 blue spot or yellow head jawfish, and maybe the royal gramma( last) :) some shrimp, and snails, no no no crabs, i do not want them to cut any zoas i might get, if and big if.
