Just so you know, I was dosing the tank with ammonia to 4ppm every day, had three cycled filters on the tank, and the live rock itself was also cured... (I was mistaken about it being uncured.) I have been watching the levels every day and for nearly 10 days now it's been no Ammonia, no Nitrite and Nitrates between 5-10 (My tapwater comes out between 5 and 10)...
My tank was going through the ammonia in about 10 hours, and the resulting nitrites in another 2 or so and had been doing this for days. That's when I did a water change, and added the fish, snails and crabs.
I also added a piece of live rock that has feather dusters and some other creatures on the rock (knowing full well that the ammonia probably killed whatever hitchhikers I had on the original liverock...)
