As I mentioned in another thread, I recently lost my pearl gourami. I was wondering if I had any room to get any more fish, and if so, what kinds you would recommend. If I am, in fact, already overstocked then just let me know.

Sorry to hear about your loss :(
I'd say you're overstocked - several of your fish will reach ~4" and the pleco will get huge (it's good that you have a future home for him :)). I wouldn't add anything else to the tank right now.

I'd say you're stocked and to hold off on any purchases for a while... unless of course it's a new tnak to stock! ;) Ah, multiple tank syndrome... my fickle mistress.

Yea, I had a slight brown algae problem, so I checked with my friend to see if he wanted a pl*co, which he does, so I told him I'd buy one to take care of my algae and give it to him when he started getting bigger, it works out pretty well. Kind of sucks that I'm overstocked, because the tank looks like it could use a little filling out, but meh, nothin I can do about it

Harlock - I want a new tank soooo bad, but I don't know what I'm doing for school next year/where I'll be living, so I'm not gonna go buy the 55 gallon tank that's been eating away at me for the past month until I move, if I can even get one where I end up living

Yea get rid of the pleco and you should be ok for now. How are your gouramis getting along with eachother?

They get along amazingly well, I've never had any problems at all. There was a day where one of my platinums (the larger one) was being kind of mean, so I ran out and bought some more plants. That was months ago, and after that I never had another problem again.

get the 75 instead of the 25... takes up about the same amount of space but gives your fish so much more room :)
