lolol..

Just goes to show,

you can find ANYTHING on the internet !!!

Yes you can.

With as many people who hate walmart it's not hard to believe that there are hundred of I hate walmart sites. Some of the information you can find on these sites is pretty interesting though. I just read about walmart doing away with layaways before Christmas. I can see a lot of angry people when they find out about this.

Just so everyone knows the only thing you have to do to work in the pet department is take a test that walmart made. It's not even for that specific department. I worked at wallyworld a long time ago, and was in the lawn and garden dept. The test for the L&G had the fish test in it, there was also a section about paint mixing and fabric cutting. How all these go together I have no idea. If I remember correctly there was 2 questions about fish. One of them was the way you can tell if the fish can live together is by the last number of the price. If the last number is the same they are fine together. So if angel fish ended in .96 and neon tetras ended in a .96 they would be fine together. The other one was a true false question about not using the water from the faucet to fill the bag.

That's all the training they give you about keeping fish. The next time the person in the department has no idea what they are talking about give them a break, blame corporate.

Here is a suggestion. If you have problems with the way walmart keeps their fish, I have seen good and bad, then email corporate walmart. If they get enough complaints, something may come out of it, you never know. But I can promise you it wont help by complaining in here. At least you MAY be accomplishing something by emailing them with your problems.

Here is a thread that I found very interesting. It looks like some people actually do know what they are doing, but are not allowed to.

I find it crazy that they could just toss living fish into a trash can, and no animal rights group would do anything about it. If it was a cat or a dog it would be an entirely different story.
