Striped Peacock Eel wont feed - Please help !

Hi Friends !

I have a 5 inch Stripped Peacock eel and the problem is that I have never seen it feeding. It comes out in the night (I guess in search for food, but what do I feed it ? I havent seen it eating anything atall....

Please help friends....

Do you have shrimp pellets? Drop those in after lights out. Other sinking foods should work too. Do it after lights out.

Thanks for caring and for helping me out....

The problem is that I'm from a very small town here in India and I dont get so much variety of Food, Fish, accesories etc... anyways I guess I'll have to buy some sinking food online only....

Are these eels carnivores ? What type of sinking food should I get ? Kindly advice...

Sinking shrimp pellets will work. They do eat ghost shrimp as adults.

Ha! You wish . Those eels won't eat anything other than live black worms. I have a 6" one, very nice looking fish they are.

freeze dried blood worms should work

I have also read that they will eat canned sardines (just make sure that they are packed in water, not oil ). Good luck !

try dry blood worms, will work. ive had them b4 and they ate blood worms.
