im thinking about planted tank
does anybody wanna share thought with me?

theres an asian website with thousand of planted tank pics
people post their own planted tank , wrote all specs like America's plantedtank.net

I can ask personally with pm, then ppl teach me the all kind of informations kindly - like size of tank , subs, co2 , lights etc
then i can try to copy one pic. thats a advice i learned from that website if i cant meet them personally

look at this 1ft cube tank
how can someone make this beautiful planted with full of fish in small 12 inch cube ?

in fact , lots of asian did, they like to start with small tank
controlling 100% inside tank
if u ask me a favor , i can bring hundreds of 1ft cube tank pics ,(but it will be hard to
ask each one of their permission)

if i ask what kind of fish i can raise in 10gal tank, ppl in america say , not that much.
but lots of asians rasing many kind of fish in smaller tank, thats the difference i saw

i also brought some planted tank 2ft to 6ft.
before i linked , i asked each of their permission(sent pm)
i will check tomorrow if some of them didnt allow me , then i will delete some pics

how long will it take me to make a planted tank like this?
i will try on 75 or 180gal planted tank soon

i know it cost lots of money, need good subs. and aqua soil maybe from ada's webpage,
co2 system , i got 400watt t5 lighting and tanks so far

Wow! Those are some amazing tanks there!

Planted tanks don't have to be expensive or difficult. Basically, a planted tank is a balance between light, fertilizer/nutrients, and CO2. If you have two, but the third is too low or not balanced correctly, then you get algae. You also don't need exotic or hard to find plant species to make a beautiful tank. I see one up there that you posted that looks like nothing but anubias. Simple plants found at any box store or local fish store, if given the proper care and placed in the right location to best showcase them, can create an amazing aqua scape.

You also don't need expensive substrate. I grew a beautiful fully planted 20 gallon long tank in just plain old play sand from the hardware store with a 48" T12 shop light over it. DIY CO2 and EI dosing dry fertilizers and my plants went crazy.

you are just talking to the wrong people it has nothing to do about people asia or america.... there are a ton of people here dictated to small tanks and fish. one reason it might seem they have a one up is a lot of the smaller fish are being found in asia. there is also a ton of fish commonly exported to europe and different asian countries that just dont make it here. i think one of the fastest growing markets it seems is small fish and inverts in the hobby. do more with less.

there is also a lot of these tanks where the fish are a after thought. they have a planted tank and the fish just add to it. fish die oh well just toss in some more as long as it looks nice.
