Stuff on inside of tank

I am guessing more like this (taken from another recent post)

Ammonia is zero, as are nitrites.
The hair parts are clumped much closer together, and the only base they seem to have is a small spot with which they stick to the walls.

Is it clear? Or green? If it is green it is hair algae.

There is some on the plant I have in there, but it's really small. The stuff is all over the walls of the tank, too. Does hydra make that many?

Hydra are little stinging organisms. There could be that many.

Yeah, I was feeding a bit more because of the two catfish I have in there. They don't come out until the lights are out, so I figured if I fed more, they wouldn't starve. I guess I'll be cutting back. Thanks!
Oh, and I also got a mystery snail, because I read that they eat hydra.

Okay, after a while of cutting back on the feeding, the stuff is gone. Thanks to you all for the help!
