OK- so I'm not a big livebearer fan but I let my kids each pick out a couple of fish for my aquarium (with my supervision that it was compatible)...

My youngest child picked out some Mollies (which after saying no to all the giant goldfish she had really wanted I consented to).

I must admit her Mollies have actually grown on me somewhat... They're quite the lovable doofuses... and anyone that will pick at my hair algae is all right with me.

Now... in doing a water change I must have accidentally let some polyester fibre from the filter get in the water... before I could stop her, one of the dalmation mollies had it and was darting off around the tank away from me.

I'm convinced she ate a good sized chunk of it without spitting it out. Any suggestions what to do- I'm not sure they make tummy pumps for fish!

I'm guessing the squished peas remedy- anything else?

i would say peas....and hope it passes...iv had guppies eat hairs so long it was coming out of both ends.....gah..dumb little fishlol...just had to clip it and let it go threw.

hope she makes it.

good luck, i think peas are the best choice, and the molly will probably live:)
